If your Local Authority has decided not to proceed with an EHC Needs Assessment following a parental or school request, I can provide expert guidance on the next steps.

Drawing on my extensive experience within both school settings and the Local Authority’s EHCP team, I will help you understand the reasons for the refusal, assess the available evidence, and advise on the most appropriate actions to move your case forward—whether that involves submitting further information, requesting a reconsideration, or preparing for an appeal.

EHC Draft Plan / Notice of Amendment — Priority & Comprehensive Reviews

Both options draw on my extensive experience in schools and within the Local Authority EHCP team, so you’ll get legally informed, practically focused advice designed to secure the best possible outcomes for your child.

Priority Review (rapid/priority check)

I offer a Priority Review of a new draft plan or Notice of Amendment to ensure it meets SEND legislation and best practice. You will receive a clear checklist and a professionally drafted letter to your Local Authority outlining any suggested amendments. This service is ideal if you need a fast, expert assessment and practical next steps

Comprehensive Review (detailed/audit-level check)

The Comprehensive Review provides a much deeper level of scrutiny. I will cross-reference the draft or proposed amended plan against professional reports (price includes review of two reports; additional reports are charged at £50 each).

You will receive a fully annotated version of the EHC plan with suggested amendments, together with a detailed letter containing your parental representations. This pack is suitable for use at draft stage, during an annual review, or as part of preparation for a SEND Tribunal.
